Healthcare & care providers

Top-level care is coming to every home.

AI and robots are bringing top-level diagnosis, surgery and monitoring within reach of everyone. The providers that lead free their people for what nothing replaces: time with the patient.

Brief us on your challenge

Healthcare & care providers in numbers

2.1 million

Dutch people aged 80 or older are expected in 2070 (forecast).

Against just over 0.9 million in 2025.¹

Far more people will need care, mostly at home. AI and robots let the same team reach them and keep time for each one.

72,600

workers short in Dutch care and welfare in 2025 (forecast, scenario "Reference + policy").

Rising to 261,800 by 2035.²

Hiring alone won't close the gap. Letting AI and robots take the routine gives the people you have more time with patients.

Nearly 60

Dutch hospital organizations offered home monitoring in 2024.

Up from ten in 2021.³

Care at home is already normal practice. The next step is to spot trouble early, before it becomes a hospital stay.

What's changing

AI reads scans, writes the reports and plans the rosters. Robots assist in surgery and take on routine physical work. Monitoring at home spots trouble early, so care moves from the ward to the living room.

Where providers win

Their people spend their time with patients, and the routine runs without them. The same team cares for many more people, and patients choose them for the nurse who knows them.

Santeon hospitals, COPD care at home

Seven Dutch hospitals let COPD patients share their health data through an app, so the hospital could follow their condition closely. Among patients on this hybrid care path, admissions fell 40%, emergency visits fell 33% and outpatient visits fell 18%.⁴

How we help

We work with the board on the choices that get there: which care to move home, where AI and robots go first, and how to make the case to insurers and municipalities. Then we build the AI into how the organisation works, and keep improving it.

  1. What would your organisation look like if every patient got top-level care at home?

Where should your organisation start building, so its people get more time with each patient?

Growth Into the Netherlands

Dutch care is publicly funded and runs on its own rules for who pays and who buys. We find out where a newcomer's care or technology fits, then help make the set of choices that gets it adopted.

AI

In care, AI gives people back time with their patients. We build it into how your organisation plans, records and monitors, so every shift has more room for care. Each time the frontier moves, we move the organisation with it.
